Terms of Service

Last updated: June 17, 2026

These terms are a practical App Store submission draft. Replace the contact email and have counsel review them before launch.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Framecut, including our app, website, AI video editing features, media processing tools, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Framecut. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Your Content

You keep ownership of videos, audio, images, prompts, captions, project files, and other content you upload or create with Framecut ("User Content"). You grant Framecut a limited license to host, process, reproduce, modify, transmit, and display User Content as needed to provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service.

AI Outputs

Framecut may use AI systems to generate edits, captions, transcripts, timelines, suggestions, and rendered media. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or similar to outputs generated for other users. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before publishing or relying on them.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Framecut to:

Subscriptions and Purchases

Some features may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase. Purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms. You can manage or cancel App Store subscriptions in your Apple account settings.

Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on third-party providers for hosting, storage, analytics, authentication, payments, AI processing, transcription, rendering, and other functions. Your use of third-party links or services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

Intellectual Property

Framecut and its software, design, branding, logos, and other materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of Framecut or any right to use our branding except as necessary to use the Service.

Service Changes and Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We try to keep Framecut reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Termination

You may stop using Framecut at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the Service or other users, or if required by law.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Framecut will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, content, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Framecut harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information. By using Framecut, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.
